As early voting has been initiated, the DeSoto Independent School District is providing clarification regarding voting sites available in the district.
The district will not offer early voting locations at any of its district facilities.
Following the district academic calendar, the district will be closed on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, as an added safety measure for students and staff.
On November 5, 2024, the district will host Election Day voting sites at the following locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
- Curtistene S. McCowan Middle School -- Dance Room
- Frank D. Moates Elementary School -- Gym
- Katherine Johnson Technology Magnet Academy -- Cafeteria
- Ruby Young Talented and Gifted Academy -- Gym
- The Meadows Elementary School -- Gym
- Cockrell Hill Elementary School -- Gym
- DeSoto East Middle School -- Gym 2
- DeSoto High School -- Dyer Gym
