The vision of the DeSoto Independent School District is to inspire curiosity and consciousness, develop character, build courage,and nurture compassion.
This vision is aimed at building leadership and agency in school community citizens, staff members and scholars in order to position them to become world shapers and changers at any age and stage of life.
Those within the DeSoto ISD school community who are older than, are at, or approaching 18 years of age, are eligible to vote and are encouraged to complete or renew voter registration.
Voting is both a right and a privilege; but, it is also a responsibility and means to have a stake in the decisions that shape the world in which we live.
Families are encouraged to talk with their children about registering to vote and may resolve voter registration at VOTETEXAS.GOV.
