DeSoto ISD Launches New Online Anonymous Reporting Tool to Enhance School Safety and Compliance
DeSoto Independent School District is proud to announce the launch of a new online anonymous reporting tool now available on the district’s official website at DeSotoISD.org. This initiative is part of the district’s broader efforts to create safer, more accountable campus environments for students, staff, and families.
The reporting tool can be accessed directly from the district homepage by locating the Quick Links section just below the video banner and clicking the icon labeled “Submit Anonymous Tip.” This feature enables users to submit concerns confidentially, empowering students and staff to report misconduct, safety threats, or other incidents with complete anonymity.
Alongside this new system, DeSoto ISD is also increasing campus oversight and compliance checks to support a culture of integrity and vigilance across all schools.
“Creating safe, supportive learning environments starts with trust, and trust begins with listening,” said Dr. Usamah Rodgers, Superintendent of Schools. “This new anonymous reporting tool gives our students and staff a secure way to speak up, knowing their voices will be heard and their identities protected. We are committed to accountability at every level.”
The district is also maintaining its use of the longstanding “See Something, Say Something” tool and encourages everyone in the school community—students, staff, families, and visitors—to continue using this method as a proactive approach to school safety and wellness.
“Our job is to make sure every campus is a safe place to learn and work,” said James Thomas, Chief of Maintenance, Operations, and Security. “This tool is an added layer of protection that helps us respond faster, address issues more thoroughly, and reinforce the importance of shared responsibility when it comes to safety.”
In addition to the website-based tool, individuals can continue to report concerns via:
