Mr. Webb was born in Dallas and is a product of Dallas ISD. While matriculating in Dallas, he was exposed to great educators and a challenging curriculum through the talented and gifted program.Having been blessed academically, he was recruited nationwide and accepted an academic scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Dallas. There he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Administration. After graduating, he returned to Dallas ISD where he taught elementary band. While teaching band, he enrolled in the Master’s of Education program at Dallas Baptist University. During this time he switched subjects and began teaching sixth grade math/science. With a new Master’s of Education, Mr. Webb joined the DeSoto ISD family in 2005 as an assistant principal at Amber Terrace Intermediate. He worked there four years and helped facilitate the transition from an intermediate to elementary campus. Desiring a new challenge, he requested a transfer to the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP). After a year of learning under the long-time leader Mr. Charles Henderson, Mr. Webb accepted the position of DAEP Administrator.
Not only is Mr. Webb active in the school community, he is also serves in a leadership capacity at his church. He is a firm believer in growing the whole person and leaving the world a little bit better than it was before. There is great potential in each seed. With the right conditions, the seed produces a tree which bears much fruit.
Mr. Webb is married and has two children. When he’s not spending time with them, you can find him at an airport flying, trying to figure out a way to go flying, or talking about the last time he was flying.
